Access The Open Sprint 247
We've made joining our Open Sprint 247 as easy as one, two, three (four and five). Registration takes just 5 minutes and you'll be ready to set your students on their way to challenge other teams in providing fresh insights and innovations to global organisations.
STEP ONE ///
REGISTER
Complete our online registration form with information about you, your institute and learners.
STEP TWO ///
ACCESS
After registration we'll email you relevant access details to our discord server for you and your students to join. We have a dedicated faculty channel for you and your colleagues to ensure you can support students throughout the process.
STEP THREE ///
SPRINT
Your student teams will then work together with the support of our Nexgen Open Sprint 247 facilitators to solve the live work brief. Student teams will get weekly drop in sessions and asyncronous advice to ensure they're hitting key milestones and client expectations.
STEP FOUR ///
SUBMIT
Teams will submit their client pitches as videos (10 minutes max). The Nexgen team will review all submissions and invite the 3 best entries to pitch their suggestions and ideas live to their client.
STEP FIVE ///
REVIEW
The live client will select their winning idea and feedback on the other successful finalists. The Nexgen team will provide feedback on all submitted projects for professional and personal development.

Detailed Information
Is my college/university eligible?
Our Open Work Sprints are degree level projects and are accessible to all academic institutes.
How much does it cost?
Nothing. It's free for your institute to register on our platform and give access to your students.
How many students can access?
We don't have a limit of student numbers. However, this is a team sprint and each team must consist of a minimum of three students.
How do my students access projects and support?
Our Open Sprint 247 are all managed through our dedicated Discord server. You will be given both student and faculty access. Teams will receive regular information from the Nexgen team and the live client throughout the sprint duration.
How long does each work sprint last?
Each work sprint lasts 12 weeks. This will be broken into key milestones that will ensure students keep pace with the project and provide maximum impact for their client.
Are these simulations?
No. Each work sprint is a real live business project with a real client.
Where are clients based?
We work with clients across Europe providing key International experiences for the US market. All work sprints will be conducted in English.
Who are the clients?
The clients are SMEs that require the extra support and ideas that students can provide.
What type of subject areas?
Our work sprints are created to be accessible to all students and projects will allow transferable work skills relevant for future professional development.
Can my students join more than one sprint?
Yes. Your students can join as many sprints as they like through the year.
How many work sprints a year?
There are 4 different work sprints across the year that students can join. Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall.
What support do learners receive?
All students will access support for the specific project including live workshops, videos and supporting materials.
Students will also receive support in how to use the work sprints for their professional development including how to promote their experience on Linkedin and how to further develop transferable work skills such as creativity, communication, social influence, resilience and stress management.
What support do faculty receive?
Faculty will receive extra supporting materials if they wish to run the work sprints in conjunction with course curriculum for credit. Please reach out to the Nexgen tteam for more info for faculty support.
